AVID - CERTIFICATION
General description
The Media Composer curriculum - completely refreshed in 2009 - builds on 20 years of award-winning instructional excellence, ensuring the success of thousands of professional editors worldwide. Once you've been trained in Media Composer, you have the option to support that expertise with industry-recognized certification.
Certifications
By passing rigorous exams delivered in over 5,000 testing centers worldwide users can achieve certification at two levels:
- Avid Certified Media Composer User
Establish the core skills, workflows, and concepts involved in the nonlinear editing process on an Avid Media Composer system. The exam covers content delivered in the Avid MC 101 - Introduction to Avid Media Composer course or equivalent product experience. - Avid Certified Media Composer Editor Expert
Build on the knowledge gained in the Avid Certified Media Composer User exam to provide a complete understanding of Media Composer and the more advanced tools and workflows involved in creating professional programs. The exam covers content delivered in the Avid MC 201, >Avid MC 205 and Avid MC 239 courses, plus real-world product experience gained over time.
Prerequisites
To have followed the Avid MC 101 - Introduction to Avid Media Composer training or equivalent experience.
Formation style
In order to receive an Avid Media Composer Certified certificate, the participant must complete the Avid Certification Exam given and supervised at the Centre NAD.
