Pixologic - ZBrush
Content
This training is proposed in a three days intensive format. Each section begins with a lecture presentation then followed by supervised exercises by the teacher. Once completed, the participant
will be able to:
- Understand and identify productivity gain link to the use of ZBrush
- Know how to use ZBrush set of tools
- Import and export objects and models from a 3D software package
- Improve a model with ZBrush
- Create objects with ZBrush
- Create textures with ZBrush
- Take better decision that will improve the overall production quality and execution
This training is indented for general 3D artist, modellers and texture artists. Overall objective is to improve the productivity and quality of the artist's work by incorporating ZBrush.
Instructor
Graduated from the NAD Centre, Steve Jubinville is passionated about digital sculpture and character modeling. He started his career at Skuad Studios, then at CAE Electronics to move to Ubisoft where he worked in the Cut-scene Department as Character Artist. His talent and sense of great detail has brought him to model the main characters of the company's licences such as Prince of Persia, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, Far Cry and Assassins. Actually working at Hybride Technology, he has also worked on some contracts for Meteor Studios and DamnFX. He teaches at the NAD Centre the Organic Modeling class and ZBrush for professionals since 2004.
Prerequisites
- Work on a daily basis with one 3D software creation package: 3ds max, Softimage or Maya
- Work on a daily basis with Adobe Photoshop
- Knowledge of the film/television or video games industry terminology
Language
This course can be presented in French or in English in accordance with demand.

Three days. Lab time included.
