TOON BOOM DIGITAL PRO
General description
This five days training will cover the complete production workflow in Toon Boom Digital Pro. Toon Boom Digital Pro is the must-have tool for animation studios to create high quality animation productions from start to finish. Digital Pro is a complete solution, from drawing directly on the screen, to scanning, inking and painting, compositing, laying out animation in 3D space, applying special effects and rendering. Digital Pro offers a new level of creativity, efficiency and simplified workflow for film, video, television, games, web sites, mobile devices, training applications and more.
Audience
The course is designed for home users, creative professionals, animation studios & producers and educational institutions who wish to incorporate Digital Pro in their creative process.
Course Objectives
At the end of the training, the participant will be able to :
- Draw using vector based digital tools and scan in drawings
- Build color models and palettes
- Layout scene in 3D camera views
- Create camera moves and pans
- Create special effects
- Animate using inverse kinematics
- Connect joints using glue
- Add lip sync and sound
- Create libraries of reusable assets and effects
- Use keyframes to move and transform elements in the timeline
- Generate in-betweens automatically with morphing
Prerequisites
The participants must have a basic knowledge of, at least, one graphic software and some basic knowledge in animation and drawing.
Course Themes
This session covers: creating a character's rig, stage interface, drawing, painting and color models, setting-up scenes, animating in timeline, camera control and effects.
Course Structure
Discussions and presentations of real-life case scenario will allow the group to exchange ideas on the featured concepts. Hands-on exercises will allow the participants to master the tools and exchange their experiences.
